Manning Centre

David Collins The Manning Centre for Building Democracy (MCBD) promotes the improvement of Canada’s democratic political infrastructure by offering knowledge, training and experience to prepare people for principled political participation.

The Faith Political Interface Program (FPIP) is one of the educational and training programs of the Manning Centre, and contributes to Canadian democracy building by facilitating unique, valuable and practical learning opportunities for people of all faiths, so as to ensure that their democratic participation is both an asset to our political processes and a credit to their faith.

The Program is not designed to mobilize persons toward support of particular political issues, positions, or parties.

The FPIP partners with educational and religious institutions and leaders, political advocacy & activist organizations and individuals, political thinkers & practitioners,  media/communications professionals, and business & legal professionals  within the various Canadian faith and cultural communities, to organize and facilitate specifically designed Seminars, and other learning opportunities, that will encourage and enhance this important learning.
