1956 - ’65
David Collins raised in Vietnam, the son of missionary parents

1980 - ’87
David pastored and worked for a Christian school

1987 - ‘91
David & family worked in Vietnamese refugee camps in Thailand and Philippines. They discovered a need for further understanding of the connection between evangelistic missions and mercy ministry.

1994
David founded Canadian Food for the Hungry - an outcome of a necessity to apply worldview convictions to life. Although CFHI delivered humanitarian assistance throughout the world, the primary objective was to transform the thinking patterns that produced poverty. Sustainable change came when people changed their thinking.

2007
David founded Paradigm Ministries. Based on lessons learned as a pastor (3 congregations), missionary, educator, international development worker and senior executive, God birthed a burden in David’s heart to work with the local church in communities across Canada as they explore God’s leading them into their own communities.

Present
David now invests his life in individuals, pastors, congregations and
denominations who desire to learn more about connecting faith and lifestyle;
activity with solitude; listening to God and application of what He reveals;
releasing old dependences to grasp God’s inner transformation; preferring
relationship to expectations. He is a coach, consultant, pastoral counsellor,
teacher and friend.
