About Us

I. Executive Summary

Life is too short to simply continue living patterns that are contradictory to God’s original intention.  Those who share a Biblical worldview of life honestly believe that people are healthier, economies more sustainable, justice more achievable and the environment stewarded in more honouring ways when we practice the principles of the Kingdom of God.  The overriding purpose of Paradigm Ministries is to assist individuals and corporations (church, business, civil/political & education) to wrestle with the realities of the choices they are making daily in light of Biblical teaching.

II. Vision Statement

To see Christians, specifically in Canada, living lifestyles that reflect the Kingdom of God on earth.

CORPORATE MISSION:

“To facilitate God-Honoring community transformation as God’s people choose congruency of life and truth through discovery and understanding.”

VALUES:

1.   GRACE: to honour those with whom we interact, showing them respect and consideration while allowing them to explore, ask questions and process reactions to their own experiences from their past.

2.   TRUTH: to ensure that everything explored is supported from a Biblical foundation, being cautious to avoid exaggerations and stereotyping.

3.   CLARITY: to foster understanding through focusing on the issues that are relevant and doing so in a credibly discerning way.

4.   RELATIONSHIP: to ensure sincere, authentic, loving connection while guiding the exploration process of others

5.   PROVOKE:  to arouse a feeling or action; to call forth; to provide the needed stimulus to create a recognition for the need to make a “choice”

"David Collins helped to sharpen our perspective so that we see not only our church inthe world, but also theworldin which our church has been placed. David’s thoughtful questions and keen observations have enabled us to more fully understand our call to serve our neighbourhood in urban Vancouver and how to make a holistic, lasting difference in Cambodia."
